В новогоднем комедийном мюзикле мы увидим историю об украинской Золушке – Верки Сердючке, которая прошла путь от сельского колхоза до циркового училища и большой сцены.

За всеми мелкими рабочими нюансами съемок следил сам Андрей Данилко, ради этой комедии он бросил на произвол судьбы всю свою гастрольную деятельность. В сюжете мюзикла мы будем наблюдать за тем, как Верочка родилась и выросла в обыкновенном провинциальном селе, затем решила попытать свое счастье в Москве и решается на то, чтобы заполучить шоу-бизнес. Помимо Андрея Данилко мюзикл дополнят известные и любимые всеми нами актеры Тамара Яценко и Владимир Горянский, ну и конечно же Инна Белоконь, которая исполнила роль мамы Сердючки. Так же дополнит картину своим присутствием колоритный певец Филипп Киркоров, который любезно согласился исполнить роль друга Верки Сердючки. Знаменитый артист выступил в роли гостя на дне рождении Мамы Сердючки в селе (сцены в этом эпизоде снимались в Музее народной архитектуры и быта под открытым небом в Переяславе – Хмельницком), после этого момента он появляется в больнице, куда попадает мама его подруги.

Все съемки «Приключения Верки Сердючки» осуществлялись на Центральном железнодорожном вокзале, и, конечно же, в киевском цирке. По замыслу сценариста именно в этом месте после завершения учебы в эстрадно-цирковом Верка Сердючка и стала знаменита.

All that we are is a result of our thoughts! In this talk, Ani Trime Lhamo shares seemingly obvious, yet surprisingly overlooked, values of the human mind and the powerful influence of our thoughts on us. She explores imagination and meditation as tools to revive ourselves and raise our perception of self-worth.

The Venerable Bhikshuni Karma Trime Lhamo, an American-born Buddhist nun, is the director of the Princeton Buddhist Meditation Group. A practitioner for nearly 40 years, Ani Trime originally studied with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, one of the first Tibetan Buddhist masters to teach in the West, and she is now a student of the Tibetan teacher Anam Thubten. She has also studied and practiced to some extent in the Theravada and Zen traditions. Ani Trime’s down-to-earth, straightforward approach emphasizes meditation practice, kindness, and everyday experience, all presented with humor and warmth.

Pearl S. Buck Adeel Hashmi is a famous Pakistani Television film actor, screenwriter, producer, comedian, and a social worker. He appeared in various television shows and films. Multi-tasking seems to be his mantra and he is able to deliver quality in spite of the quantity of his various endeavors. He is known for his comical roles in shows such as ‘TEEN BATTA TEEN’ where he played part of Luci. He holds an MBA degree from Imperial College and Masters of Fine Arts degree from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, U.S. Currently, he is teaching a course named as “CREATIVE WRITING VS SCREENWRITING” at Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is well known for his innovative ideas in advertisement industry of Pakistan. He is the grandson of Faiz Ahmed Faiz. This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Engineering professor Barbara Oakley is co-teaching one of the worlds largest online classes, «Learning How to Learn», www.coursera.org/course/learning.

She know firsthand how it feels to struggle with math. Dr. Oakley flunked her way through high school math and science courses, before enlisting in the U.S. Army immediately after graduation. When she saw how her lack of mathematical and technical savvy severely limited her options—both to rise in the military and to explore other careers—she returned to school with a new found determination to re-tool her brain to master the very subjects that had given her so much trouble throughout her entire life.

Barbara Oakley, PhD, PE is a professor of engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Her research focuses on the complex relationship between neuroscience and social behavior, and has been described as “revolutionary” by the Wall Street Journal. Oakley’s books have been praised by many leading researchers and writers, including Harvard’s Steven Pinker and E. O. Wilson, and National Book Award winner Joyce Carol Oates. Her book A Mind for Numbers: How to Excel in Math and Science (Even If You Flunked Algebra), will be published by Tarcher-Penguin on July 31, 2014.

Prior to her academic career, Oakley rose from private to captain in the U.S. Army, during which time she was recognized as a Distinguished Military Scholar. She met her husband, Philip, when she was working at the South Pole Station in Antarctica. Her experiences with well-intentioned altruism were shaped by her work as a Russian translator on Soviet trawlers on the Bering Sea during the early 1980s. Oakley was designated as an NSF New Century Scholar—she is also a recipient of the Oakland University Teaching Excellence Award (2013) and the National Science Foundation’s Frontiers in Engineering New Faculty Fellow Award. Oakley is an elected Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering.

Michael Stevens the persona behind the YouTube sensation Vsauce, is an online personality with an entertaining approach to explaining the science behind seemingly ordinary, everyday phenomena. Zibby Lindholm has always loved to share her opinions with the world. After years of others wondering how to build similar confidence, Zibby decided to share her experiences and her solutions. She provides a path that people may take to develop their thread of confidence. Throughout her talk, she seeks to prove that confidence is not an innate quality, using the talk itself as an example.
