A story surrounding more than a million students in India built around a booming IT industry, a machine like education system, a race to a seat amongst the top engineering colleges and student suicides in our system. The Indian education system in all its complexity has turned out to be one of the most fascinating educational stories in the world. Adhitya Iyer completed his engineering degree from Mumbai University, where he studied in an institute interestingly named after Sardar Patel and was inaugurated by Nehru. He was listed as one of Indias Top 30 student entrepreneurs by the NEN. He later spent 2 years in Bangalore selling chai, before he set out to write a non-fiction on the complex life of Indias engineers is Kickstarter funded and is Indias highest crowdfunded book. He thinks the society needs to be re-imagined and that humans cant be spending more than half their life doing something they seldom enjoy.

When a person demands perfection of herself or himself, anything less can feel like failure. Adia Gooden knows this from experience. In addition to her work as a staff psychologist at the University of Chicago, she’s learned in her own life how to break negative thought patterns and live more freely. In this role, she provides individual, group and couple therapy to undergraduate and graduate students. She also conducts outreach workshops for students of color and continuing education training for clinicians on working with black clients. Gooden authors a blog focused on promoting mental health among black women. She speaks and writes about black women, black couples, black youth and mental health. A Sociologist and Senior Fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, Christine Carter, Ph.D., is the author of The Sweet Spot (2015) and Raising Happiness (2011).

After receiving her B.A. from Dartmouth College, where she was a Senior Fellow, Dr. Carter worked in marketing management and school administration, going on to receive her Ph.D. in sociology from UC Berkeley.

As the talk began, the crowd suddenly woke up to an aura of excitement. It was a perfect opportunity for the audience to rejuvenate by bringing forth a perfect blend of entertainment. Bhuvan added up — «Agar aap apna passion follow karte ho aur agar apka sikha chal jata hai..to uske pros and cons pakka hote hai». Talking about the hilarious events of his life, he lightened the environment.

He concluded the talk by saying,

«Agar apke dimaag mein koi abhi idea hai toh please kisi pe dependent na raho» followed by singing a song «Teri Meri Khani» which he composed himself two years back.

Bhuvan Bam, is a singer/ songwriter from Delhi. He holds a Bachelors degree from Delhi University. Being a composer, producer as well as an instrumentalist makes him a «One-Man Army» and what sets him apart from others is his Unique Surname!

He is the owner/performer at BB Ki Vines. He makes funny videos on the internet and aims to spread smiles all over the world. He was quite an entertainer since his school days. Bhuvan randomly created a video and it was appreciated by people which lead to the start of his Vine. Interestingly, he admits that he is not a comedian. Music is Bams profession and passion. He says all his earnings are through his live performances and original songs. He hasnt yet earned anything through Comedy.
